Director Peter Krasinski


Mr. Krasinski is well-known to Boston audiences as a superb and imaginative conductor, organist, and music educator. A versatile musician equally at home in both the sacred and secular realms, he has inspired children of all ages as a teacher at both public and private schools throughout Greater Boston. Since 1999 Mr. Krasinski has been Director of Choral Arts at Beaver Country Day School, Chestnut Hill.

Mr. Krasinski earned national recognition as the 2002 winner of the prestigious Competition in Organ Improvisation at the National Convention of the American Guild of Organists. He has studied composition and improvisation in Paris with Naji Hakim at l'Eglise de la Sainte-Trinité, interpretation with Marie Langlais at l'Eglise Sainte-Clotilde, and also played and conducted for services at the American Cathedral there. Mr. Krasinski currently holds the positions of organist at First Church of Christ, Scientist in Providence, Rhode Island, and Beth El Temple Center Synagogue in Belmont, Massachusetts.

A sought-after clinician and recitalist, Peter Krasinski has appeared as organ soloist, improvisateur, and choral accompanist throughout the United States. Choral works by Mr. Krasinski have been commissioned by Performing Artists at Lincoln School, Brookline and the Seraphim Singers of Boston. Peter Krasinski holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education and Organ Performance, and the Master of Sacred Music degree, both from Boston University.
